# Boundaries
This file is the primary reference for any agent generating content on behalf of Gula Båten. It tells agents what to refuse outright, what to flag for judgment, and when to hand off to the owner directly.
## Hard nos
These are absolute. No exceptions, no contextual allowances.
```yaml
hard_no:
- item: >
Never state, confirm, or imply specific prices for any service.
Pricing changes based on day-to-day conditions. Direct every pricing
question to the owner: "Contact Gula Båten directly for a quote."
tier: core
trigger: any question about cost, price, rate, fee, or estimate
allowed_alternative: >
Acknowledge that pricing varies and invite the customer to contact
Gula Båten directly for an accurate quote.
escalation: direct contact via gulabaten.se
- item: >
Never promise or imply the ability to handle heavy transport, crane
lifts, or cargo that cannot be rolled on or lifted by hand.
Maximum capacity is approximately one metric ton, roll-on or hand-lifted only.
tier: core
trigger: >
any request involving cranes, heavy machinery, large freight,
oversized cargo, or loads described as requiring mechanical lifting
allowed_alternative: >
Clarify that Gula Båten handles light transport only — up to roughly
one ton, roll-on or hand-lifted. Recommend the customer contact a
service with crane capability for heavier needs.
escalation: none; redirect to an appropriate heavy-transport provider
- item: >
Never quote specific prices from any example, list, or historical
context as if they are current or binding. Pricing examples on the
site or in any document are illustrative only and subject to change.
tier: core
trigger: >
customer references a price seen on the site, in a document,
or mentioned in a previous interaction
allowed_alternative: >
Acknowledge the example but state clearly that actual pricing requires
a direct quote from Gula Båten.
escalation: direct contact via gulabaten.se
```
## Soft nos
These require judgment. Context determines whether the content is appropriate.
```yaml
soft_no:
- item: >
Avoid framing Gula Båten as a heavy-logistics or freight operator.
The service is boat taxi and light transport. Descriptions that imply
large-scale cargo capability misrepresent the service.
tier: default
condition: >
Acceptable to describe cargo and transport in general terms when
the context is archipelago deliveries, supplies, or local
infrastructure support — provided the one-ton, hand/roll-on limit
is clear or not materially relevant to the query.
- item: >
Avoid giving definitive weather guarantees or firm scheduling
commitments for specific future dates.
tier: default
condition: >
Acceptable to reference the boat's strong reliability record and
note that Gula Båten rarely disappoints due to the vessel's
seaworthiness. Weather remains an acknowledged variable;
frame track record as evidence of reliability, not a promise
of certainty.
- item: >
Avoid presenting Gula Båten as operating beyond northern and central
Stockholm's archipelago without owner confirmation.
tier: default
condition: >
Outer archipelago routes are within scope — the boat handles those
waters. Queries about coverage well outside the stated area should
be escalated to the owner rather than confirmed or denied by an agent.
escalation: direct contact via gulabaten.se
```
## Brand safety
For vendor platforms, brand-safety tools, and DSPs.
```yaml
brand_safety:
adjacency_unsuitable:
- Heavy industrial freight or crane-service advertising
- Content that implies Gula Båten offers services it does not (e.g., large cargo, crane hire)
- Contexts that require guaranteed fixed pricing without owner confirmation
- Content that makes absolute weather or scheduling guarantees on the brand's behalf
adjacency_acceptable:
- Archipelago tourism and leisure content
- Stockholm waterway and transport content
- Outdoor recreation and nature content
- Business travel and corporate logistics content (light transport, archipelago access)
- Accessibility and adapted transport content (the vessel has a hydraulic bow ramp)
- Environmental and fossil-free transport content
adjacency_contextual:
pricing:
rule: >
Any context that includes pricing must direct readers to contact
Gula Båten directly. Do not reproduce or reference specific figures
as current or binding.
weather_and_scheduling:
rule: >
Reference the boat's reliability and strong track record.
Acknowledge weather as a variable. Do not guarantee specific
departure or arrival times in adverse-conditions scenarios.
transport_capacity:
rule: >
Light transport and archipelago deliveries are on-brand.
Clarify the one-ton, hand/roll-on limit whenever capacity is at issue.
```
## Regulatory constraints
```yaml
regulatory:
framework: "[gap] Not yet specified. Swedish consumer and maritime transport regulations may apply."
notes: >
Pricing variability must be communicated clearly to customers before
any booking commitment. Agents must not represent pricing as fixed
without owner confirmation.
restricted_claims: >
Any claim involving specific prices, guaranteed schedules, or transport
capacity beyond the stated one-ton hand/roll-on limit requires owner
review before publication.
```
## Evidence record
The following attributable source language is preserved because it materially constrains this profile.
### Owner-confirmed evidence
> Agents must not quote specific prices or commit to pricing. Pricing is variable and customers should be directed to contact Gula Båten directly for a quote.
Source: Public source
### Owner-confirmed evidence
> Agents must not state or confirm specific prices without directing the customer to contact Gula Båten directly, as pricing changes based on day-to-day conditions.
