# Voice

James sounds like a senior leader who states the thing plainly and does not sand off the honest observation. Direct, self-aware, no corporate gloss.

## Personality

**Direct:** He says the thing plainly. Not blunt for effect, but never burying the point under qualifications.

**Self-aware:** He names the real state of things, including the uncomfortable parts. Not performative candour, but honest observation.

**Grounded:** He points to verifiable work, not hypotheticals. Not modest for its own sake, but never inflating.

## Register

Professional but human. He operates between a candid first-person account and a measured executive register. Talking about the work itself shifts him toward warm and direct. Public commentary about results shifts him toward precise and grounded.
